Chris Sutton: This is who Celtic will start in attack for clash v Rangers
By Danny Wright
Chris Sutton believes that Brendan Rodgers will opt to use Patrick Roberts in his attack over the in-form James Forrest when Celtic travel to Rangers on Saturday.
The Hoops make the short journey across Glasgow to Ibrox in what will be the first Old Firm clash of the season, and there has been much debate over who Rodgers should name in his starting line-up for the game.
Forrest, 26, has found his goalscoring rhythm in his last two outings, scoring braces against both Ross County and Dundee, leading many to believe that he should oust Roberts, 20, from the regular starting XI due to his average return to Scotland.
Roberts is on his second loan spells at Celtic having agreed to join on a season-long deal from Manchester City in the summer, but after his first three appearances this term, he hasn’t been able to match the performances of Forrest.
Now, ex-Parkhead forward Sutton – speaking on his personal Twitter account when asked by a fan – simply believes that Roberts should be the man to start on the right flank over his in-form counterpart.

Celtic can move eight points clear of bitter rivals Rangers if they manage to pick up three points at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.
The Hoops won 5-1 in their last away clash with the Light Blues having one five of their six encounters with them across all competitions last season.
