Chris Sutton has named Bruno Alves and Chris Sutton as top signings for Rangers this summer.
The Gers enjoyed a busy summer transfer window as manager Pedro Caixinha underwent a huge transformation of his squad.
The Ibrox outfit finished third in the league last season on their return to the top flight and will be hoping to challenge Celtic and Aberdeen during this campaign.
They have made a mixed start to the season and were knocked out of the Europa League in the qualifying rounds by Luxembourg minnows Progres Niedekorn.
However, some of their new arrival have begun to settle and they have seven points from their opening four league games.

Pundit Sutton has highlighted the arrival of Alves and Dorrans as two key Rangers signings this summer.
Alves has been a colossal figure so bar in the Gers back-line, while midfield maestro Dorrans has looked a powerhouse in the centre by showing both attacking and defensive traits.
“I actually think Bruno Alves is a good signing. I think Graham Dorrans is a good signing for Rangers,” Sutton told the Scotsman.
Alves is an experienced defender that has made the move to Scottish football during the latter stages of his career.

He has become an ever-present in Caixinha’s starting line-up at centre-back and his know-how stands out.

Meanwhile, Dorrans is a goalscoring central midfielder that has struck twice in his opening five games, while also chipping in with an assist.
He is becoming a colossal figure in the centre of the park and his creativity is going to be key for the Gers this season.
