BT Sports pundit Chris Sutton has named seven Rangers and Celtic players in his Scottish Premiership team of the week.
The former Hoops forward unveiled the ever-intriguing list on his personal Twitter account on Monday, which he claims is ‘the most exciting moment of the week’.
The main takeaway is that it features five players who starred in Celtic’s 5-1 victory over Motherwell, and two players who featured in 10 man Rangers’ 2-1 victory over Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

Interestingly, three of the five Celtic players selected are fringe players who are unlikely to start against Anderlecht in the Champions League this week; Kristoffer Ajer, Jonny Hayes and Osonne Edouard.
Ajer had a solid game in defence, where he replaced Jozo Simunovic while Hayes arguably had his best game for the Hoops since signing from Aberdeen in the summer.
On-loan striker Edouard was always going to feature too after his weekend hat-trick.
The other two players named, Olivier Ntcham is bound to provoke debate as he only played for 68 minutes whilst it’s no surprise that the always dependable Kieran Tierney is named.
As for the Gers players featured; young Ross McCrorie has been a revelation in recent weeks in midfield in turned in a great performance against Aberdeen, whilst James Tavernier, not often lauded for his defensive qualities, stood up well to the barrage of Dons attacks in the last 20 minutes of the game.
In other Celtic news, Patrick Roberts has updated fans on his injury.
