Chris Sutton: This is who will start up front for Celtic in clash v Bayern Munich
By Danny Wright
BT Sport pundit Chris Sutton has boldly claimed that Moussa Dembele will start up front when Celtic face Bayern Munich at Parkhead on Tuesday night.
The Hoops know that they will have to win if they want to keep alive any realistic hopes of making the Champions League knock-out rounds and one of the big debates prior to kick-off is who will start in the lone striker role.
Brendan Rodgers has opted to play Leigh Griffiths in most of the big games this season, however Dembele now looks back to full fitness following two braces in his last two appearances against Hibernian and Aberdeen before he was rested against Kilmarnock on Saturday.
Sutton is now sure that the Frenchman will start against Bayern on Tuesday as he believes that he will give Celtic much more of a chance of forcing the German titans into defending a bit more.
“Well Dembele will start, I don’t think there’s any question about that,” said Sutton on BT Sport Football’s official Periscope account.

“Celtic away in Munich really struggled to get up the pitch and I think Dembele offers that physicality and will hold the ball in better than Leigh Griffiths.
“I felt sorry for Leigh Griffiths because he was very isolated in Munich and it was tough playing against top defenders.”
Dembele has scored five goals in 10 appearances across all competitions since coming back from a long-term spell on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury.
He has played just 25 minutes in the three Champions League group stage clashes, which have seen the Bhoys win one and lose two.
The Scottish champions are currently third in their group and will make huge strides towards playing in at least the Europa League knock-out stages after Christmas if they just manage to avoid defeat to Bayern.
In other Celtic news, Sutton has also delivered his thoughts on this deal for a Hoops mainstay.
