Christian Benteke welcomed his former Liverpool teammate Mamadou Sakho to Crystal Palace on Twitter on Wednesday evening.
Sakho, 26, made the move to south east London on deadline-day after Palace agreed a loan move with the Merseyside giants.
He had been frozen out of the Reds’ team under manager Jurgen Klopp after being sent home from his side’s pre-season tour of the U.S in the summer.
He will be eager to see some first team football as soon as possible, while he also links up with a familiar face in Benteke.
The towering Belgium international made the switch to Palace in the summer for a £27million fee after also failing to impress with Liverpool.
Now, with the two set to play in the same side again, Benteke welcomed the Frenchman on his personal Twitter account alongside a picture of them both training for the Reds.

Benteke lasted just one season with Liverpool between the 2015-16 season after making a £32.5million move to Anfield, while Sakho has been contracted to the Reds since 2013 following an £18million transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
The pair played 122 times in total for Liverpool as they now look to steer Sam Allardyce’s team clear of relegation.
In other Liverpool news, Andy Carroll has named this current Reds ace as his toughest opponent.
