Manager Thomas Christiansen has confirmed that key centre-back Pontus Jansson will miss the midweek EFL Cup clash against Burnley.
The Yorkshire giants are currently preparing to face the Premier League outfit at Turf Moor for the EFL Cup third-round stage on Tuesday evening.
Leeds will have been wanting to go into the clash with a full strength squad with the offer of silverware on the line.
However, boss Christiansen has revealed, as quoted by Yorkshire Evening post chief football writer Phil Hay via Twitter that Jansson will not be a part of the squad after being forced off the pitch against Millwall at the weekend due to injury.
Christiansen said Jansson will miss tomorrow's game. He's due to do a training session instead. #lufc

Jansson has been a vital part of the Leeds back line since joining from Italian club Torino last summer on an initial loan deal.
The Yorkshire giants made sure to tie him to a permanent contract quickly and announced in February that he would sign for a fee of £3.5million once his loan expired at the end of the 2016-17 season.
He has also played in all but one of Leeds’ eight league matches this season, while he has not yeat featured in the EFL Cup for Christiansen’s side in the new campaign and fans will be hoping that he is not set for an extended spell out of the squad.
In other Leeds news, Christiansen also gave a fitness update on this key duo.
