Club chief delivers rave review of reported WHL target (not Zaha), fans will love this

Hull City boss Marco Silva insists reported Tottenham transfer target Harry Maguire is on course to have a bright future in the game.
Maguire is currently under contract at the KCOM Stadium, but with his deal set to expire at the end of next season, a number of clubs are keen on his services.
The Standard reported last month that the White Hart Lane club were keen on a move for the 24-year-old defender, who could fetch a fee between £12million and £15million this summer.
The report adds that Tottenham scouts have been impressed by the defender’s performances this season, but it is Hull boss Silva that has delivered the latest rave review on his talents.
Maguire had starred as Hull earned a valuable clean sheet against Southampton on Saturday to boost their chances of Premier League survival, a performance that has epitomised his fine form this term.

Following the game, as quoted by the Standard, Silva admitted that Maguire has all the skills necessary to become a big talent in the future.
He said: “That performance is no surprise to me, because he’s played like that and been improving for a while now. He’s a very good player.
“He works hard and is understanding better what I want for the team and he’s understanding better our organisation as well. He has very good skills and it is clear to me he will have a big career in the future.”
Tottenham fans will love Silva’s comments, because the next step for Tottenham in their pursuit of domestic glory is to touch up the squad with quality additions and bright future talents. Therefore, Maguire fits the bill.
They will also be boosted at the defender’s versatility, as he will be comfortable at playing in a back-three, as well as a back-four, a tactic which Tottenham have deployed to great success this season.
However, the comments do suggest that the Portuguese is a fan of Maguire’s talents, which means that Hull could be looking to retain his services for the long term, which could prove to be bad news for Tottenham in their reported pursuit.
Maguire has been in fine form this season, contributing three goals and three assists from 34 appearances in all competitions, as Hull sit two points clear of the relegation zone with three games remaining.
