'Clueless' - McManus slams senior man after key decision in Celtic draw (not Brown)

By Harvey Byrne

Former Hibernian forward Tam McManus has slammed referee Don Robertson as “clueless” following the decision to send off Scott Brown in Celtic’s Sunday draw.

The Hoops were held to a 2-2 draw against Ross County at the Global Energy Stadium with goals coming from Kieran Tierney and Patrick Roberts, which were cancelled out by Michael Gardyne and Liam Boyce.

However, one of the main talking points of the match came as Celtic key man Scott Brown saw a straight red card in stoppage time, which could see him miss next weekend’s Old Firm derby.

The decision has been a huge talking point and McManus posted on his personal Twitter account that he thought it was a “shocker” and went as far as to label Robertson as “clueless.”

Celtic have already won the Premiership title with five matches of the season left, but they are still looking to go the entire campaign unbeaten.

The Hoops’ minds will however be away from the league campaign for this week as they prepare for a Scottish Cup semi-final clash at Hampden against Rangers.

Brendan Rodgers will aiming to bring home the treble in his first season in charge and if he can dump the Gers out of the competition while doing so that will only be an added bonus.

In other Celtic news, Chris Sutton is now worried about the Old Firm clash after this “daft” decision.
