Stan Collymore has revealed that he would like Tottenham to win the Premier League title after their impressive performance against Liverpool.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team produced an outstanding display and secured a stunning 4-1 victory over the Reds at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs took advantage of a number of mistakes from the Liverpool defence with Harry Kane scoring two goals with Son Heung-Min and Dele Alli also getting themselves on the scoresheet.
Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool’s goal but the Reds were completely outclassed throughout the entire 90 minutes.
Outspoken pundit Collymore delivered his verdict on the emphatic result for Spurs on his official Twitter account and made the shock revelation that he would like Tottenham to win the league title this season.
Superb Spurs as always. Really want this team to win the league.
Going full steam ahead in the right direction in every damn way.

This comes as a bit of a surprise because Collymore had no affiliation with the North London club during his footballing career.
The victory means that Spurs are now level on points with second-placed Manchester United ahead of the important league clash at Old Trafford next weekend.
Pochettino’s side are always unbeaten in their last 11 matches in all competitions this season.
Spurs face bitter rivals West Ham United in the Carabao Cup at Wembley Stadium in midweek.
