Rangers confirmed they had reached an agreement for new four-and-a-half year contracts for Ross and Robby McCrorie earlier on Friday and it is a bit of business could could leave the Gers quids in down the line.
Ross McCrorie has already stepped into the Gers’ first-team and wowed fans with twin brother Robby expected to follow suit before too long.
Not too long ago the highly-rated pair were reportedly being monitored by a host of Premier League clubs with a view to pinching them from under Rangers’ nose but were beaten to the punch by the Gers.
While Ross McCrorie has already impressed in the first-team, Robby is a bit more of an unknown quantity to Rangers fans and is arguably even more highly-rated than his brother.
The shotstopper is currently on loan with Berwick in League One but is almost certain to be a Rangers number one for years to come.
With cool heads on their shoulders, the pair could easily become the first-set of twins to represent the Gers together since Frank and Ronald de Boer.
While they might not have quite the same level of ability as the Dutch icons, they could quite probably go on and have a far bigger impact on the Gers.
And if they do, the Ibrox giants could find themselves in a position to make miillions for one – or both – of their signatures.
