Confirmed Celtic line-up v Kilmarnock: 25-year-old axed in five changes
By Harvey Byrne
Brendan Rodgers has made five changes to his Celtic team which takes on Kilmarnock in the Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
The 44-year-old manager has decided to bring Dedryck Boyata, James Forrest, Scott Brown, Stuart Armstrong and Kieran Tierney back into his starting line-up following the midweek 1-1 draw against Partick Thistle.
The changes have seen 25-year-old Nir Bitton being axed to the bench with Kouassi Eboue, Erik Sviatchenko, Emilio Izaguirre and Cristian Gamboa also dropping out of the Hoops’ line-up.
Celtic confirmed their line-up via their official Twitter account prior to the 3.00pm kick-off at Celtic Park.

Celtic have already won the league title, but Rodgers’ side’s next goal will be to complete the entire season unbeaten.

The club have already won more points than they did last season with seven games of the campaign left as they sit on 87 compared to last season’s total of 86.
Kilmarnock on the other hand are sat in seventh place and they are currently competing with Partick for the elusive sixth place in the table with four points separating the two.
When the Hoops last met Killie in November a goal from Stuart Armstrong proved all decisive in the 1-0 victory.
The Glasgow giants will be hoping for a more comfortable victory this time around as they look to continue their dominance over the rest of Scotland.
