Confirmed Leeds line-up v Bolton: Christiansen gives trio debuts

Thomas Christiansen has named his team for the first Championship game of the season away at Bolton.
It’s been a busy summer for the new manager with 10 new recruits at Elland Road.
Christiansen has whittled his squad down into what he see as his strongest starting XI and the team news was announced on the official Leeds Twitter account ahead of the 4.30pm kick-off.
New signings Felix Wiedwald, Matthew Pennington and Ezgjan Alioski get the their competitive debuts for the club, with Rob Green starting from the bench.

Chris Wood, the team’s leading scorer from last season, spearheads the attack and will be looking to fire his team into a fast start in the Championship.

He scored 27 goals for Leeds in the Championship last season as his team narrowly missed out on a play-off spot, despite being in the top six for the majority of the season.
They were pipped after a last-minute collapse by Fulham, with Huddersfield eventually winning out at Wembley in the play-offs.
