Confirmed Leeds line-up v Fulham: 24-year-old axed in three changes

By Harvey Byrne

Thomas Christiansen has made three changes to his Leeds team which takes on Fulham in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

The Danish manager has decided to bring Samu Saiz, Conor Shaughnessy and Vurnon Anita into his starting eleven following Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Preston.

This has resulted in 24-year-old Kemar Roofe being axed to the bench after the goalless stalemate, while Liam Cooper and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson have also dropped out of the Yorkshire giants’ line-up.

Leeds confirmed their line-up via their official Twitter account prior to the 7.45pm kick off at Elland Road.

A win for Leeds on Tuesday evening could see them take the Championship’s top spot depending on results elsewhere.

However, Fulham started the season with similar promotion aspirations to Leeds and they will be keen to put their first victory of the campaign on the board against the Yorkshire giants.

The last time the two clubs last met in March at Craven Cottage they played out a 1-1 draw with a late Tom Cairney effort cancelling out an early Tim Ream own goal.

But, both sides will be gunning for all three points on Tuesday in what is sure to be a hotly contested fixture.
