Confirmed Liverpool line-up v Stoke: 19-year-old named on bench

By Harvey Byrne

Liverpool have named an unchanged eleven for their clash against Stoke in the Premier League on Tuesday.

Jurgen Klopp has decided not to make any changes to his eleven with 19-year-old Ovie Ejaria the only switch in the 18-man match day squad from the previous 1-0 victory over rivals Everton.

The change on the bench has seen fellow young prospect Trent Alexander-Arnold drop out.

Liverpool announced their side on their official Twitter account ahead of the meeting at Anfield.

The Reds are going into the clash on the back of two victories and a draw, which has seen them occupy third in the league table.

A win against Stoke could see them move ahead of Manchester City in second, who beat struggling Hull on Boxing Day.

However, a loss will keep them nine points away from league leaders Chelsea, which could push the title too far away.

By contrast, Stoke are sat in 12th place in the top flight table with two draws and a loss from their last three matches and they will be eager to put an end to their poor run of form.

A win for the Potters could move them as high as ninth, but a defeat by three or more goals could move them below Bournemouth on goal difference.

The match will be shown live on Sky Sports 1 for the 5.15pm kick off.
