A win on Saturday would be huge for the north east giants as it would also ensure they move 11 points clear of Huddersfield in third place with 11 matches left of the campaign.
However, the Terriers will not go down without a fight and they themselves are in good form with with six victories from their last seven league matches.
Of those wins includes crucial three points picked up against Leeds, Brighton and Reading and they will be also hoping to increase that run on Saturday.
Additionally, when the two teams met at the start of the campaign Huddersfield earned a 2-1 victory with goals from Nakhi Wells and Jack Payne cancelling out a Gayle effort.
