Nottingham Forest have confirmed on Tuesday that they have signed Keith Asare to his first professional contract with the club, that will see him remain at the City Ground until 2020.
The Reds confirmed the news on their official Twitter feed and website and said that they were “delighted” to have the youngster on their books.

Only back in January, according to The Sun, the attacking midfielder was linked with a shock move to Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and there was also talk of Monaco being interested too.
Asare, 17, has been a regular for the Under-18s this season and has been at the City Ground since 2015 when he made the switch to the club from Southend United.
The midfielder was initially brought to the club on schoolboy terms, before earning a scholarship and has gone from strength to strength under the youth set-up, finally leading to this new deal.
Football Insider verdict:
This is a great coup for everyone at the club, particularly as the youngster is regarded one of the top prospects at Nottingham Forest. Asare is a talent for sure and will undoubtedly be one to break into the first team sooner rather than later. While he remains at the City Ground – instead of at a European club – the youngster can continue his development and with Aitor Karanka in charge, he is under one of the best manager’s in the country and one who will give him all the tools he needs to succeed.
