Confirmed Rangers line-up v St Johnstone: Wallace misses out in three changes

Rangers have made three changes to their starting XI against St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership meeting.

The Gers travel to St Johnstone on Friday night for a league clash and manager Mark Warburton has recalled Josh Windass, Kenny Miller and Danny Wilson to the starting line-up.

Lee Wallace, Martyn Waghorn and Lee Hodson have been omitted from the team after the win against Inverness.

Rangers have announced their starting XI on their official Twitter account.

Rangers captain Wallace was doubtful for the St Johnstone clash after he picked up a dead leg in the last game.

Warburton’s side will be confident after winning their last four consecutive league games, which has seen them take a firm grip of second in the table.

They edged past Inverness 1-0 in their last game as a Brad McKay own goal was the difference between the two sides at Ibrox.

The Gers will go 10 points clear of fourth-placed Hearts with a win against St Johnstone as they try to maintain their position in the European places.

Rangers face table toppers and great rivals Celtic on Saturday, meaning players will be desperate to impress against St Johnstone to feature in the Old Firm match.
