Pedro Caixinha has made a huge six Rangers changes to face Kilmarnock on Wednesday evening.

Caixinha has made four changes to his defence, bringing in James Tavernier, Danny Wilson, David Bates and Myles Beerman to replace Lee Hodson, Clint Hill, Rob Kiernan and Lee Wallace.

The defensive reshuffle made by Portuguese boss Caixinha comes after Hodson, Hill and Wallace were taken off at half-time during Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Motherwell.

Elsewhere, Joe Garner and Andy Halliday have come in to replace Jon Toral and Kenny Miller.

The Gers will be hoping for a repeat of their last outing against Lee McCulloch’s side, which saw Wallace, Andy Halliday and Garner all find the back of the net in a 3-0 win at Ibrox.

The last time the Gers travelled to Rugby Park, former manager Mark Warburton saw his side fail to overcome the Killies in a 1-1 draw.

Three points could see the Gers close the gap back to 10 points between themselves and second placed Aberdeen, with eight games to go for Rangers in Scotland’s top flight.
