Conte is changing 'absolutely everything' at Tottenham after inside source reveal - expert

Antonio Conte will change “absolutely everything” at Tottenham and turn away from the “boring” style of Nuno Espirito Santo.

So says injury expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in medicine and data analysis.

Spurs confirmed the appointment of the prolific trophy-winning manager Conte on 2 November following Espirito Santo’s dismisall two days earlier.

Conte took charge of Spurs training for the first time on 3 November and a club source gave Football Insider the lowdown on his new methods.

The session provided a clear signal that the Italian will once again employ a 3-5-2 formation, and the buzzword that emerged was “energy”.

Dinnery insists that this will prove a welcome gear change from the passive management style of Espirito Santo.

“I wasn’t a big fan of Nuno’s conservative style of play,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.

“I understand that was about the management of his players and making sure they aren’t pushed too hard.

“But Wolves went from a team that I loved to watch to one that were so boring. That moved across to Tottenham.

“Their lack of running and pressing must ultimately be a reflection of what Nuno has told them to do.

“It was fairly evident he’d lost the dressing room. Conte has come in and there is a buzz around the dressing room.

“He will change absolutely everything. Players will want to come in and prove themselves

“He has his own ideas and methodologies and it will put a spring in everyone’s step.
