Conte tipped to go ‘all out’ for ‘big’ Tottenham signings after £70m-rated star reveal – pundit
Noel Whelan has tipped Tottenham to conduct some “big business” in the summer transfer market after making just two signings in January.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested Antonio Conte would go “all out” for his top targets.
As revealed by Football Insider on Thursday (3 February), Tottenham are plotting a summer move for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen after making an enquiry last month.

The 23-year-old striker is valued at £70million by the Italian outfit, with a new centre-forward Spurs’ top priority in the transfer window.
Tottenham made just two signings in January, despite Conte putting “huge” pressure on Daniel Levy to get four new additions through the door.
As such, Whelan suggested Spurs are set to go big in the summer.
Whelan told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Do I think he’s happy with just two? Absolutely not. I think he’d have liked the four he wanted.
“However, we know the January window is a difficult window to do that. Two out of four, 50 per cent, is not bad.
“The summer, that’s where I think their big business is going to be done. There are probably targets they couldn’t have got now anyway.
“The summertime is the big one for Tottenham, I think that’s where they’ve got to get it right. Conte will go all out to try and get the men that he wants.
“I think it’s going to be exciting for Tottenham fans. Conte will have the money, he won’t have taken that role on without the guarantees because he’s a winner.”

Spurs signed Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrgio Bentancur from Juventus.
Meanwhile, Bryan Gil, Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Dele Alli all left north London.
