Celtic fans react to Candeias claim about Rangers title chances
Celtic fans have reacted with hilarity and disbelief on Twitter to claims made by Rangers winger Daniel Candeias that the Gers can catch the Hoops at the top of the league table and win the title.
Candeias made the comments in the Scottish Sun, before a weekend of games which could be defining in the title race.
With the gap at the top of the table currently nine points, the Gers face Hearts at Ibrox on Saturday with a chance to cut the lead to six points before the Hoops travel to Pittodrie to take on third placed Aberdeen on Sunday.
Fans of the Bhoys weren’t too impressed with the 28-year-old’s comments, with one going as far as to call him a “lunatic”.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Candeias’ comments:

Before the trip to Aberdeen, the Hoops are in Europa League action on Thursday night when they travel to Russia to take on Zenit in the second leg of their Europa League last 32 clash.
The Bhoys take a 1-0 lead into the second leg thanks to Callum McGregor’s winning goal at Celtic Park in the first leg.
It will be interesting to see how the rigours of playing in Russia affect the Bhoys when they make the trip to Pittodrie three days later.
