Curtis Jones: Liverpool star ‘snubs’ Premier League interest after new talks
Curtis Jones is prepared to snub interest from a number of Premier League clubs as he closes in on a move away from Liverpool this summer.
The 25-year-old is reportedly in talks with Inter Milan in a move away from Anfield after growing frustrated with his playing time and role in the squad under Arne Slot.
Despite the manager’s recent departure, the midfielder is still widely expected to move on, placing multiple clubs across Europe on alert over his availability.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Premier League clubs have been made aware that Jones is keen to move away from English football.
Liverpool are set for a busy transfer window alongside the arrival of a new manager, with key changes to be made across the starting XI, and major exits are expected.

Football Insider revealed in April that Jones is unhappy at Liverpool and is keen to move on in the summer after what has been a frustrating season at Anfield.
Under Slot’s management, he was often deployed as a makeshift right-back despite preferring to play in the middle of the park, leading to questions over his future.

Liverpool are now set to entertain offers for him, with Inter Milan the leading candidates, and Premier League clubs look like they will miss out.
“Of course English clubs are going to be interested in Jones,” Brown told Football Insider.
“But the reason they haven’t made moves for him is because they’ve been made aware that Jones isn’t interest in moving to another Premier League club.
“If he’s going to leave Liverpool, which I think would be a mistake on their part, it’s going to be to a club abroad, there’s been a lot of talk about Inter Milan.
“He’s a top player, Jones, but he’s spent the season playing as a makeshift right-back and having to carry out an unfamiliar role, that’s not his fault.
“It’s become clear that he hasn’t been happy, so a move abroad, potentially to Italy, in search of a fresh challenge could be just what he needs.”
Which Premier League clubs are interested in Jones?
Despite Jones having no plans to remain in the Premier League if or when he leaves Liverpool, there are a number of English clubs who have shown an interest.
His performances in the Premier League have proven he can be a useful asset at this level, with the likes of Tottenham and Newcastle keeping tabs.

Meanwhile, Brown told Football Insider in April that Aston Villa are interested in signing Jones, who would be seen as an upgrade on their current options.
Unai Emery is bracing for interest in a number of key players this summer despite having qualified for the Champions League and will need to bring in replacements.
Jones has long been admired at Villa Park, but any move is now considered unlikely, with the England international set to move abroad instead.
