Daniel Gabbidon questions talkSPORT poll raving about Tottenham ace

Daniel Gabbidon has questioned a talkSPORT poll asking whether Tottenham ace Dele Alli is the third best player in the world.

The former West Ham player clearly disagreed with Alli being named alongside the trio of Neymar, Gareth Bale and Robert Lewandowski in the list.

The poll stated that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are two of the best players in the world and they subsequently asked their followers who is behind the duo.

This was Gabbidon’s response on his personal Twitter account when the popular radio station began raving about the youngster.

“Dele Alli,” Gabbidon questioned. “Neymar [is the third best], not even close.”

Since his move from MK Dons in 2015, Alli has become one of the hottest properties in English football with his performances winning plaudits across the division.

The England international has scored 16 league goals during this campaign and with six matches of the season remaining, he is on course to hit the 20 goal mark.

The talkSPORT poll was won by Barcelona superstar Neymar, who has had another fantastic season in La Liga.

Neymar has played 26 league matches this term, scoring nine goals and supplying 13 assists as Luis Enrique’s side aim to catch current leaders Real Madrid in the title race.

Despite his impressive performances in the league, Neymar has faired much better in the Champions League were he has scored four goals and assisted a further nine during his eight matches.
