
‘Daniel Levy to green light Tottenham spending spree after £270m+ reveal’
Daniel Levy could sanction a Tottenham spending spree this summer after the club have qualified for the Champions League.

Tottenham banked around £38million in prize money from the Europa League, with their final success earning them a place in next season’s Champions League.
Finance expert Stefan Borson told Football Insider Spurs will earn around £100million after qualifying for European football’s elite club competition.
Tottenham’s accounts for 2023-24 revealed their turnover fell from £549.6million in 2022-23 to £528.2million.
However, their losses dropped from £86.8million to £26.2million across the same period.

However, the decision not to spend big in recent windows hasn’t been down to any profit and sustainability (PSR) concerns.
The Athletic reported on 5 June Tottenham have the fourth-highest PSR capacity in the Premier League behind Chelsea, Brighton and Manchester City.
It said Spurs could lose up to £277million in the 2024-25 financial year and still comply with the spending rules, with top-flight clubs permitted to lose £105million over a rolling three-year period.
Tottenham now have the cash to agree deals following their qualification for the Champions League.
This is an opportunity for Levy to sanction a summer signing spree to improve the squad and get the club competing back at the top end of the Premier League again next season.
