Danny Murphy: I am surprised at how good this Tottenham emerging star is

Tottenham star midfielder Dele Alli caught the eye of Match of the Day pundit Danny Murphy after another scintillating display for his side.
Alli set up Harry Kane for his hat-trick and Tottenham’s fourth in a comprehensive 4-0 dismantling of West Brom at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
Alli, 20, didn’t get on the scoresheet after three consecutive Premier League braces, but it was his all-round performance that led to more effusive praise for the emerging star.
“I didn’t know he had this type of quality and vision,” said Murphy on BBC’s Match of the Day.
“He did some magical things today, there’s nothing he can’t do. he’s athletic, he scores goals, he’s so confident at the moment.

“He is just getting better week by week. He is a wonderful, wonderful talent.
“He’s just playing with a freedom, he’s enjoying it.”
Alli suffered some criticism at the start of the season after a slow start for Spurs when he only scored three goals in 15 games.
Since then though he’s been on fire, with ten goals now in 20 Premier League games, and he’s been hugely instrumental in Spurs winning six league games on the bounce.
Spurs sit in second spot in the league, ahead of bitter rivals Arsenal, but still seven points behind Chelsea.
They’ve got a huge game next, away at the Etihad next Saturday in the tea-time kick-off against Manchester City.
In other Tottenham news, manager Pochettino said that this partnership was key in the game against West Brom.
