Danny Murphy: This wonderful Tottenham talent gave everyone confidence v Wycombe
By Harvey Byrne
Match of the Day pundit and former Tottenham midfielder was pull of praise for current star Dele Alli on Saturday evening.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder gave a stunning performance from the bench against League Two side Wycombe at White Hart Lane in the FA Cup earlier in the day.
Spurs were seemingly struggling against the Football League outfit at home and went into half time two goals down.
However, a Son Heung-min strike on the hour mark as well as bringing on Moussa Dembele and Alli a minute later seemed to change the way of the tide.
Tottenham scored three goals with Alli on the pitch, with the England international getting on the score sheet himself in a dramatic late 4-3 victory.

The young starlet has been in impressive form for the north London side recently and Murphy believes he brings confidence to everyone in the team.
“This guy Dele Alli,” started Murphy speaking on Saturday evening’s Match of the Day. “Nine goals and one assist from his last eight games is just incredible form.
“He’s got this aura and presence about him now when he comes on the pitch. Dembele was there to help as well, but you know sometimes when you’re on the pitch and one of your big boys comes off the bench if he’s been injured or left out for whatever reason you feel a lot better.
“You sense everybody gaining confidence when he came on the pitch. He’s a wonderful talent.”
Alli’s goal on Saturday marked his 13th to go alongside his five assists from 29 appearances in all competitions this season.
He has become one of the Premier League’s best players after completing a £5million move from MK Dons in the 2015 winter window.
His form from the last campaign saw him named in the PFA Team of the Year as well as the PFA Young Player of the Year and fans will now be keen to see him continue in his current stride.
