Darren Bent: Klopp 'must be laughing his head off' at one Liverpool teen's brilliance -Exclusive
Darren Bent has claimed Jurgen Klopp “must be laughing his head off” at the brilliance of Liverpool teenager Curtis Jones.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-England international has been dazzled by the talent of the 19-year-old in recent weeks.
Jones captained Liverpool’s youngest-ever side to FA Cup victory over Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday after knocking Everton out of the competition with a wonder goal last month.
Bent has been blown away by Jones, who he regards as the pick of a brilliant bunch of youngsters at Liverpool.
“He looks like he could fit into the Liverpool starting team now,” Bent told Football Insider. “He is ready to go.
“Great performance as captain on Tuesday. Klopp must be laughing his head off because there are some youngsters that are very talented and Jones looks the best.

“Klopp has turned Liverpool into a team where their third team is beating opposition like Shrewsbury. This team now play the exact same way as the first team, it was scary to watch.”
Jones, who only turned 19 last Thursday, has already made eight first-team appearances.
The teenager has scored twice, and also twice come off the bench in recent Premier League matches, including in last week’s 2-0 Premier League win at West Ham.
Football Insider revealed earlier this week that Rangers were twice knocked back in attempts to sign Jones on loan in January.
In other Liverpool news, it can be REVEALED that Tottenham have jetted out on transfer mission for wonderkid who quit Anfield in £7m deal last year.
