West Ham co-owner David Gold has praised the qualities of January signings Robert Snodgrass and Jose Fonte.
The two Premier League players made the move to the London Stadium in the summer and will hope to force their way into Slaven Bilic’s starting XI.
Snodgrass completed his move from Hull and the midfielder has been in strong form this season.
Meanwhile, ex-Southampton captain Fonte moved to the Londoners and should help sure up a vulnerable defence.
Gold has explained he is thrilled with the two signings and think they will add to the squad.
“We want solid seasoned professional that what you see is what you get. I’ve met them both at training and they were fantastic,” Gold told BT Sport 1 during the coverage of West Ham v Manchester City.
West Ham have won their last two consecutive matches over Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace, which has seen them climb up to 11th in the Premier League.
Slaven Bilic’s side have managed to move on after Dimitri Payet completed his move to Marseille and have recovered from a poor start to the season.
However, they will be concerned about facing a Manchester City team that beat them 5-0 in the FA Cup third-round on 6 January.
