Sky Sports pundit David Prutton believes that Leeds United will continue their unbeaten start to the Championship season on Tuesday night when they welcome Birmingham to Elland Road.

The ex-Leeds midfielder has predicted that Thomas Christiansen’s men will beat the Midlands side 3-1, extending their unbeaten run to seven league games.

The Whites will be going into the fixture off the back of an incredible 5-0 win over Burton, which put themselves second in the table and also boosted their goal difference up to being the best in the league.

Prutton has asserted that as well as the win over the Brewers, Birmingham may be finding it difficult to gel together after a busy summer of transfers, leading to a Whites victory.

“Leeds are starting to look a real team under Thomas Christiansen and absolutely hammered Burton on Saturday. It’s remarkable to think they hadn’t even scored yet at home in the Sky Bet Championship this season,” he said on the Sky Sports website.

“Birmingham have signed a lot of players and, while I think the results will start to come, the trip to Elland Road will be too soon for Harry Redknapp’s men.”

Both times the two sides met last season, the away side came out on top to pick up three points.

At Elland Road last term, Hadi Sacko’s goal couldn’t stop Blues from picking up a 2-1 win, however there’s no doubt that Christiansen’s men are in a lot better form than Leeds were on that occasion.

The Whites can got top of the Championship table on Tuesday with a win, but they would need Neil Warnock’s Cardiff to drop points in their visit to Preston.

Harry Redknapp’s Birmingham are sat in 21st place – just above the relegation zone – and if things go badly for them, they could be bottom of the standings.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites have opened talks to sign this international after Andrea Radrizzani jetted out on a mission.
