David Prutton predicts Leeds v QPR, states senior pair must be careful
By Dominic Toner
David Prutton has predicted Leeds to draw with QPR on Saturday and believes defenders Kyle Bartley and Luke Ayling will need to be careful.
The Whites host QPR in the Championship and will be looking to strengthen their grip on a play-off spot.
The Yorkshire giants are currently fourth-placed in the league table and drew 1-1 with Fulham in their last match.
Leeds’ defensive pair Bartley and Ayling are both just one booking away from a suspension, something that could be triggered at the weekend.
Sky Sports pundit Prutton has tipped a 2-2 home draw for Garry Monk’s side and expects them to be in for a difficult match.

“It will not be a stroll in the park for Leeds, who have got a couple of players close to suspension in Kyle Bartley and Luke Ayling, so they will have to be careful,” Prutton told Sky Sports. “I think it will be really tough. Leeds might be stronger in some departments but not in others because, as happens, they can sometimes be heavily reliant on someone who scores so many goals like Chris Wood.”
Leeds will be searching for revenge at the weekend after suffering a humiliating defeat to QPR in their previous meeting.
The Whites fell to a 3-0 away defeat at Loftus Road on the opening day of the season and were left at the bottom of the league.
However, the tables have turned and Monk’s side are now chasing promotion back to the Premier League.
QPR are stuck in mid-table and have the potential to cause Leeds some trouble, winning four of the last five Championship matches.
