'Deal has been done' - BBC man claims left footed goal machine could be heading to Tottenham

By Richard Parks
Leroy Rosenior has claimed that “a deal has been done” to sign Fulham sensation Ryan Sessegnon as he prepares to make a blockbuster summer move to a Premier League big hitter.
The BBC pundit insisted on the Totally Football Show that the dazzling wide man’s “future is already mapped out” amid strong rumours he is heading to Tottenham.
Sessegnon, 17, has emerged as one of the outstanding young players in English football following two eyecatching campaigns for Championship promotion hopefuls Fulham and a series of sensational recent displays, which have yielded five goals from six matches.
Former Fulham defender Sessegnon, who has regularly worked on the BBC as a pundit, does not expect the rising star to remain at Craven Cottage.
“I think that a deal has been done for Ryan as teams have been in for him,” said Rosenior on the Totally Football Show.
“It’s a Premier League side with strong rumours of Tottenham. I wouldn’t be surprised if other sides have been in for him as well.
“He’s stays at Fulham before moving in the summer, his future is already mapped out.”
Sessegnon can play anywhere on the flank and swaps between left-back and left midfield on almost a match-by-match basis.
He has scored 12 goals in 32 league matches this season, and also weighed in with four assists, even though over half of those have come in defence.
Football Insider verdict:
All the signs are that Sessegnon is that rarity, a young English player whose potential is off the scale. The left-footed Londoner has created a lot of buzz since his debut senior campaign ended with him named in the Championship team of last season, a stunning achievement for someone who did not even turn 17 until May, at which point he signed his first professional deal. He has taken his game to a thrilling new level in his second campaign, scoring a glut of goals from out wide and is now widely considered the best player in the second tier. If Tottenham were to sign him after intense interest in previous windows, it would be a sensational coup.
