Dean Windass delivers instant Twitter verdict on Josh Windass display in Rangers win

Dean Windass has heaped praise on his son Josh Windass after he netted a hat-trick in the 5-3 win against Hamilton at the SuperSeal Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Windass, 24, has been in lethal form for the Light Blues as of late, scoring six goals in his last three appearances as well as tying up a new contract at Ibrox earlier this week.
He was widely reported to have been attracting interest from the English Championship during the January transfer window, but Gers fans will no doubt be pleased that the former Accrington Stanley attacker has committed his future to the Glasgow club.
His father, Dean Windass, used to play for Hull in his playing career and took to Twitter instantly after seeing his son score against Hamilton on Sunday.
“My little boy is on [fire],” the 48-year-old said on his personal Twitter account.

Josh Windass has arguably been Rangers’ best player this season, completely transforming from the player that blew hot and cold under Mark Warburton and Pedro Caixinha last season.
Since Graeme Murty took charge at Ibrox, the English attacker has found himself on the hottest goalscoring streak of his career.
In all competitions this term, Windass has scored 15 goals and supplied eight assists in 31 appearances.
The Gers moved second in the Scottish Premiership standings thanks to their win against Hamilton.
In other Rangers news, Gers-mad Jim White has made a bold claim in the debate surrounding this Celtic senior man.
