Declan Rice and Noni Madueke react excitedly as Arsenal agree another deal
Arsenal stars were quick to react after a journalist’s update regarding another new arrival during an already busy window at the Emirates.
It’s been a hectic summer for the Gunners, with several key arrivals and departures as Mikel Arteta continues to reshape his squad ahead of the new campaign.
Arsenal have already confirmed the signings of Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Christian Norgaard, all of whom have linked up with the squad for pre-season training. The group have since travelled to Singapore, where preparations have stepped up.
Noni Madueke also completed his move to Arsenal earlier this month, though he has not yet joined the squad due to an extended break following his involvement in the Club World Cup.
Now, after struggling to find consistency in front of goal last season and turning to Mikel Merino to lead the line, the club have now taken decisive steps to address the issue up-front.

Arsenal agree deal with Sporting CP for Viktor Gyokeres
The Gunners’ long-running search for a new striker appears to be reaching its conclusion, with Arsenal agreeing a deal to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP.
They had been weighing up their options throughout the window, with Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko emerging as the two leading targets. However, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have now struck an agreement with Sporting, bringing an end to the saga.
Romano’s update on Instagram drew widespread reaction, including likes from Declan Rice, Noni Madueke, and U18 talent Max Dowman, further signalling growing excitement around the deal.
Talks had briefly stalled over add-ons and performance-related clauses, but those issues have now been resolved to push the deal over the line.
The Swedish international enjoyed a phenomenal season in Portugal, netting a remarkable 53 goals across all competitions.
While Manchester United were also monitoring the Gyokeres, it’s understood that the former Coventry star was determined to join Arteta’s project at the Emirates.

Arsenal push ahead with Eberechi Eze transfer plans
Despite closing in on their marquee striker signing, the club are showing no signs of slowing down in the market.
Football Insider revealed that Arsenal are accelerating their pursuit of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, even with multiple new additions already confirmed this summer.
Their chase has been boosted by the player’s desire to join the club, with Eze understood to favour a move to Arsenal over rival interest from Chelsea and Tottenham.
While his £68 million release clause remains a sticking point, the Gunners are hopeful that a deal can be struck below that figure, with negotiations ongoing between the two clubs.
