Declan Rice and Phil Foden react to Eberechi Eze’s passionate Crystal Palace message

Eberechi Eze had another brilliant performance for Crystal Palace after his brace against Tottenham in the Premier League and followed it up with a message to supporters.

Crystal Palace enjoyed the perfect preparation ahead of their FA Cup final clash with Manchester City, securing a 2-0 win over Tottenham.

Eze was the star of the show once again, netting both goals for the Eagles. The first came after a superb solo run from Daniel Munoz, who kept his composure before squaring the ball for Eze to finish.

The second was crafted in similar fashion, this time with Ismaila Sarr bursting down the right and cutting it back for the midfielder to calmly slot home.

Eze has been in outstanding form this season, contributing 23 goals and assists across all competitions.

Following the victory, the 26-year-old shared a passionate message on social media, which quickly drew reactions from fans and fellow Premier League players alike.

Following the win, the forward shared a post on Instagram featuring images from the match along with the caption: “God is great.”

The post earned plenty of reactions, with Arsenal’s Declan Rice, Man City’s Phil Foden and Liverpool duo Cody Gakpo and Curtis Jones among those who liked the message

His teammates also joined in with their support, as Jean-Philippe Mateta commented: “Fantastique” and Ben Chilwell added: “Yessir.”

Although there’s a clear sense of unity and support within the Palace squad, his electric form this season hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Football Insider revealed that Liverpool have now joined the growing list of clubs monitoring Eze, who has delivered consistently throughout the campaign.

But the Reds aren’t the only ones in the race — Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United have all been linked with Eze, whose creativity and composure have made him one of the Premier League’s standout performers.

His current deal includes a £60 million release clause, and Palace are determined not to accept any bids below that figure as they look to retain their top talent heading into next season.

Adam Wharton could join Eberechi Eze in Crystal Palace exit

Eze may not be the only star at risk of a summer exit and also attracting strong interest, with Football Insider revealing that Man City now lead the race to sign Adam Wharton.

Wharton has made a huge impression since arriving at Selhurst Park and City see him as a long-term successor to Rodri and are prepared to move for him in the upcoming transfer window.

With the FA Cup final against City looming on 17 May, manager Oliver Glasner will be hoping both Eze and Wharton can keep their focus firmly on the task at hand — and possibly deliver Palace one of the most memorable moments in their recent history.
