Jurrien Timber posts ‘insane’ reaction to Declan Rice’s two-word Arsenal message

Jurrien Timber reacted after Declan Rice posted a defiant message on social media following his star turn for Arsenal in the 2-0 win over Man United.

Mikel Arteta’s side struggled in the first half to break down Ruben Amorim’s defence, with the first half ending goalless after a Thomas Partey chance was badly squandered. However, in the second half, Rice delivered a brilliant whipped ball from a corner to set up Timber, who made it 1-0.

Just minutes later, the Gunners doubled their lead from another corner on the right. Bukayo Saka’s cross was flicked back into the danger area by Partey, and William Saliba was on hand to make it 2-0.

Rice, 25, posted a cryptic message on Instagram shortly after full-time. The caption simply read “Keep doubting” followed by a smile emoji as he held up his Player of the Match award. In response Timber simply replied “insane”.
