Dejan Kulusevski useless, Pedro Porro awesome – Tottenham ratings v Bodo/Glimt
Ange Postecoglou’s side cruised to the Europa League final as Tottenham beat Bodo/Glimt 2-0 in Norway.
Heading into the second leg with a 3-1 lead, all Spurs needed to do was remain calm, manage the game well and keep their two-goal advantage away from North London on Thursday, 8 May.
Despite some pressure from the home side, Dominic Solanke finally made the breakthrough just after the hour mark, latching onto Cristian Romero’s header as the Argentine rose highest in the box.
Pedro Porro, who had a previous chance to score from a first-half free-kick, doubled the Lilywhites’ lead on the night with a wicked cross, which found the back post and then into the back of the net.
With both feet planted firmly in the final in Bilbao, Postecoglou’s job is likely to be safe at Tottenham for now, but that could all change when his side face Man United on Wednesday, 21 May.

Tottenham through to Europa League final
Guglielmo Vicario – 6
A very simple night for the Italian. Picked up a silly yellow card for time wasting and had little to do against Bodo/Glimt.
Pedro Porro – 9 – Man of the Match
Sensational. His best game in a while for Spurs. Arrived with a purpose, clearly looking to score from set-pieces with James Maddison missing, and made the most of his team’s dominance, although his actual strike was fortuitous.
Cristian Romero – 8
Grabbed an important assist, helping Postecoglou’s side to a European final despite such an awful domestic campaign. Romero could leave Tottenham this summer with a piece of silverware.
Micky van de Ven – 6
A very safe display from the Dutchman, who rarely put a foot wrong during the 90 minutes, but never offered anything special to earn more than a 6.
Destiny Udogie – 7
One of the full-back’s best performances in some time. While his accuracy was off, his sharp runs and energetic bursts were back, which have been missing since his injury.
Dejan Kulusevski awful despite convincing win
Rodrigo Bentancur – 8
Absolutely everywhere. Won his duels, remained calm in possession, and led by example in the middle of the park.
Yves Bissouma – 6
With Bissouma next to him, the former Brighton man looked slow and fatigued. His wild shot on the stroke of half-time summed up his performance – disappointing.
Dejan Kulusevski – 2
Don’t get distracted by the assist. The Sweden international was simply non-existent for much of the game, rarely creating chances in the absence of Tottenham’s real playmaker, Maddison.
Ben Johnson (Off for Brennan Johnson 68′) – 3
Disappointing, yet again, from the Welshman, who appeared to be replaced due to a new injury.

Dominic Solanke gets the party started away from North London
Richarlison (Off for Mathys Tel 61′) – 5
Made a couple of darting runs, but overall, it was a disappointing display from the Brazilian. Nothing to suggest he should be given a starting spot for the final.
Dominic Solanke – 8
His goal got the party started in Norway, poking home Romero’s header from close-range, finally getting the goal he deserved for his fourth in his last four appearances across all competitions.
Substitutes
Mathys Tel (On for Richarlison 61′) – 7
Created a chance after coming on. Accurate and impactful.
Pape Sarr (On for Johnson 68′) – 5
Offered very little after replacing Johnson. Didn’t really fit in anywhere and barely touched the ball.
