Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Moussa Dembele will miss out on Celtic’s Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.
The 21-year-old has been out since the end of July with a hamstring problem and despite returning from injury his boss has still ruled him out of Tuesday’s match.
So far this season Dembele has missed out on 10 games because of his injury, but looks to return soon.
Speaking ahead of his side’s Champions League tie, Rodgers was quoted by Celtic’s official Twitter account on Monday afternoon as confirming the Frenchman’s absence. He said: “Dembele is just back so he won’t be available.”

Dembele’s continued absence will be frustrating and disappointing to both the manager and fans after he made such an impact last season and was a key contributor to their treble winning success.

After joining for free last summer, the French Under-21 international made 49 appearances where he scored 32 goals and provided a further nine assists.
Although Dembele isn’t available, Rodgers has confirmed that fellow centre-forward Leigh Griffiths is up for selection and could feature in Tuesday’s squad after recovering from a recent knock.
Celtic will host the European giants at Parkhead on Tuesday evening before looking ahead to their Premiership cmatch against Ross County on Saturday.
