Michael Brown admits he has been blown away by the transformation of Wolves winger Adama Traore as he is linked with a blockbuster summer move.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, the former Leeds and Tottenham midfielder admits he was questioning whether the 24-year-old was even playing in games early in the season.

Le 10 Sport report that Premier League rivals Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United have been joined by Bayern Munich in the hunt for the speed demon’s capture.

Having seen Traore establish himself as a mainstay under Nuno Espirito Santo in recent months, Brown admits the attacker has come on leaps and bounds from his early-season performances.

Brown told Football Insider: “I was covering the Europa League qualifiers at the start of the season, I was doing the co-comms and the one thing I’d say after four or five games is ‘Where is he today, did we see him?’

“His end product, he’s amazing at times when he gets the ball and then you don’t see him. All of a sudden, over the season, he’s managed to change that, he’s worked with Nuno on numerous occasions about end product, delivery, final third entries, what you do with the ball.

“He’s certainly got that, he got confidence, know-how and that experience of playing more. It’s a good Wolves side, more balanced as well and a great style – it suits his style that they get in a shape out of possession and then they counter-attack very, very quickly.

“He’s in a good place but you can see with what he possesses how he can be devastating to teams and they will see if they can improve him yet again then he’d be a great acquisition.”

Traore has been a constant threat for Wolves in attack this term, with six goals and 10 assists in 43 appearances.
