'Different class' - Hazard drools over Tottenham player after win v Stoke
Micky Hazard was left drooling over the performance of Mousa Dembele in Tottenham’s 2-1 win against Stoke at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.
Although it was by no means a walk in the park for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, they secured a big three points that will help them in their quest to finish as Premier League runners-up for a second year in a row.
Christian Eriksen bagged the first goal just after half time before Mame Biram Diouf levelled for Stoke.
However the scores remained level for just six minutes before a debatable goal by Eriksen, with some claiming that Harry Kane had the final touch.
Hazard though was left raving about Dembele after the game, claiming that the Belgium international was his man of the match.
“Dembele man of match for me, different class and great to see Harry back with a goal,” he said on his personal Twitter account on Saturday.

Football Insider verdict
Dembele will enter the final year of his contract in the summer and it is so important that Pochettino and Daniel Levy reach an agreement with the Belgian midfielder as soon as possible. They cannot risk letting him leave for free so it seems that the next few months will either see Dembele leave, or pen a fresh contract. Hopefully it will be the latter as Dembele has been a key player for Spurs this season and he seems to make them tick every time he plays. That role goes under the radar to the media, but other clubs will be well aware of what he could add to their side.
In other Tottenham news, Spurs will open talks over offloading this first-team star if they receive a ‘Coutinho-sized fee’.
