Dom Solanke and Destiny Udogie react to Yves Bissouma’s message amid ‘Tottenham exit’ claim

Yves Bissouma dropped a heartfelt message to supporters with speculation continuing surrounding his future at Tottenham.

Tottenham ended their season in celebratory spirits despite a heavy 4-1 defeat to Brighton on the final day, with players and fans still riding high from their Europa League triumph.

Domestically, it’s been a campaign to forget as Spurs finished 17th in the Premier League, but their European success has done much to soften the blow and offer hope heading into next season.

As for Bissouma, it’s been an underwhelming season on a personal level. With limited starts and a largely rotational role under Ange Postecoglou, talk of a summer exit has started to gather pace.

Football Insider have revealed that Spurs would be open to offers for Bissouma, who now enters the final year of his contract. With no fresh talks currently underway, the uncertainty continues to grow.

Bissouma, however, had a message for the supporters, taking a moment to show his appreciation amid the ongoing speculation.

Tottenham stars react to Yves Bissouma’s message to fans amid exit speculation

Despite the ongoing whispers about a potential move away from North London, Bissouma took to Instagram to reflect on the season and thank supporters for standing by him and the squad during what was a challenging but ultimately successful year.

He wrote: “These moments are memorable. I want to thank our supporters and all the staff. We’re bringing home this wonderful European cup. I’m truly proud of what we’ve accomplished. We’ve made the history and we’ll continue to make it. Thank you all.”

The post received plenty of support, with Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray, and Djed Spence among those who liked it. Destiny Udogie echoed Bissouma’s mood, commenting: “Life is good.”

Despite the high spirits from his teammates, many Tottenham fans have previously called for Bissouma to be sold this summer. There’s clear frustration by his frequent injury issues and inconsistent form since joining the club.

He has made just 16 starts in the Premier League, racking up 12 yellow cards in all competitions and scoring two goals over 2500 minutes.

While Bissouma’s situation remains uncertain, another potential high-profile departure could be on the cards in the form of Cristian Romero.

Football Insider revealed that Atletico Madrid’s interest in Romero has continued, even after their Champions League qualification. Manager Diego Simeone is described as a “huge admirer” of his fellow Argentine and wants him to bolster their back line.

However, Atletico aren’t alone. Real Madrid are also monitoring Romero’s situation closely, with his ability and presence at the back clearly catching attention across Spain.

Although the Argentine has proven to be a key figure in Tottenham’s defence, his recurring injury setbacks have disrupted the team at crucial times. If a significant offer lands on the table, Spurs could face a difficult decision over his future.
