Dom Solanke, James Maddison react to Lucas Bergvall after Tottenham beat Man United
Tottenham stars Dominic Solanke and James Maddison have reacted to a post on social media from teammate Lucas Bergvall.
The 19-year-old played 64 minutes, before being replaced by Pape Sarr in a 1-0 win over Man United on Sunday (16 February).
Ange Postecoglou has been facing the prospect of being sacked as Tottenham manager, with the North London side sitting in a disappointing 12th this season.
Only the bottom four sides in the Premier League, Wolves, Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton, have lost more games than Spurs this season (13).
However, Tottenham will hope that they have turned a corner on their disappointing season, after Maddison scored in the 13th minute to give them a win over United.
The win has heaped pressure on Ruben Amorim, who was labelled a “coward” by Man United fans after the loss.
Lucas Bergvall looking forwards to Tottenham vs Ipswich after great team performance
The Swedish international celebrated the win over the Red Devils, posting three photos of himself in action onto his Instagram, captioned: “Great team performance and an Important win today, see you next week”

Bergvall’s post was liked by Solanke, match-winner Maddison, and Tottenham star Radu Dragusin, who has just undergone surgery on an ACL injury.
The young midfielder and his side will face Ipswich at home on 22 February in their next Premier League match.
The match against the Tractor Boys will give Postecoglou’s side an opportunity to register back-to-back league wins for the first time since September 2024.
James Maddison silences Roy Keane after Tottenham winner against Man United
Maddison appeared to take a dig at Roy Keane after scoring against Man United, with the Irishman making some disparaging comments about the former Leicester man before the two teams met.
Keane said on The Overlap Podcast: “Maddison isn’t bad when he’s not at the darts, but let me tell you, if you think he’s going to come back and get Spurs into the top six, you’re in cuckoo land.”
The England international then shared a photo of himself shushing the camera, potentially aimed at the former Man United captain for his comments before the match.
