Dominic Solanke reacts to Eberechi Eze’s update amid Tottenham transfer news
Dominic Solanke has added fuel to the speculation surrounding Eberechi Eze’s future after reacting to a recent update from the Crystal Palace star on social media.
Eze has been in sensational form this season, further elevating his profile, which has inevitably led to growing speculation about a potential move away from Selhurst Park.
Mick Brown, former Manchester United chief scout, revealed to Football Insider that Eze would be open to a switch to Tottenham if an offer materialises in the summer transfer window.
However, it’s believed that the midfielder is unlikely to push for a move, especially given his £68 million release clause.
Tottenham have long been interested in Eze, with Football Insider revealing that Ange Postecoglou’s side were tracking the 24-year-old as early as May 2024.
That interest seems to have endured, despite some surprise reactions, including from pundits like Alan Pardew, who expressed disbelief at the prospect of Eze joining Spurs.
However, the recent interaction between Eze and Solanke on social media has only served to heighten speculation, leaving fans wondering if a move is indeed on the cards.

Tottenham face competition from Man City and Arsenal for Eberechi Eze
Eze recently shared a training update from the gym, which caught the eye of Tottenham striker Solanke, who liked the post, sparking more rumours about a potential move to North London.
The 26-year-old has been a standout performer for Crystal Palace this season, contributing six goals and 11 assists in 2,629 minutes across all competitions.
His excellent form earned him a call-up to Thomas Tuchel’s England squad in March, where he marked it with a goal in his short cameo.
It’s not just Tottenham keeping an eye on him, however, as their North London rivals, Arsenal, are also interested in Eze.
Football Insider revealed back in October that Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool have been tracking Eze, and with interest growing, competition for his signature is sure to intensify in the summer.

Tottenham eyeing Crystal Palace trio with Marc Guehi and Adam Wharton also on the radar
Tottenham’s recruitment plans don’t end with Eze, as the club is eyeing a trio of Crystal Palace players this summer.
Spurs had a £70 million bid for Marc Guehi rejected in the final stages of the January transfer window, ultimately securing Kevin Danso on loan as a short-term option.
In addition to Guehi, Tottenham are in a race with Manchester City to sign Adam Wharton, further bolstering their midfield options.
With Spurs sitting in 14th place in the league, it’s no surprise that they’re looking to strengthen their squad ahead of next season, and any of these players could make a significant impact.
