Dominic Solanke reacts to Noni Madueke at Chelsea amid Tottenham transfer links
Noni Madueke attracted the attention of Dominic Solanke as the Chelsea star has been linked with a switch to Tottenham this summer.
Mick Brown told Football Insider that Tottenham lead Aston Villa in the race for Madueke, with the 23-year-old tipped to be open to offers once the 2024/25 campaign comes to an end.
The England international has become a much-loved figure at Stamford Bridge in recent weeks, notching 11 goals and four assists across all competitions, with a European trophy still yet to be secured.
It seems as though the winger has finally cemented his spot in Enzo Maresca‘s starting lineup, even despite the talents of Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto readily available to the manager.
However, the Blues might be without the tricky winger ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, and one Spurs star might have just added fuel to the fire when it comes to rumours of a summer exit.

Noni Madueke linked with London switch during the summer
Taking to Instagram (4 May), Madueke shared a series of images from the 3-1 victory over Liverpool on Sunday, 4 May, capturing the attention of his teammates and rival stars.
Cole Palmer commented: “Ma boy,” while Tosin Adarabioyo replied: “Warm!”, with Tottenham’s Solanke, and Aston Villa duo Ezri Konsa and Morgan Rogers liking the post.
Enzo Maresca at risk of big-name exits at Chelsea
Football Insider verdict
Despite a brilliant 3-1 win over the newly crowned Champions, Liverpool, with goals coming from Enzo Fernandez, Palmer, and a Jarell Quansah own goal, Champions League football is not secured.
Man City, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, and Aston Villa are all fighting the Blues for the top-five spots in the Premier League table, and Maresca’s team still need to face two of those teams.
It has been suggested that, without Champions League qualification, Chelsea could lose Palmer during the summer transfer window, given his incredible talents on the pitch.
Premier League standings | Points |
3. Man City | 64 |
4. Newcastle United | 63 |
5. Chelsea | 63 |
6. Nottingham Forest | 60 |
7. Aston Villa | 60 |
The team are already likely to have Europa League football, being favourites to lift the Europa Conference League title this season, but that might not be enough to keep hold of some of their biggest talents.
That could also mean Madueke if Spurs and Villa are both after his signature, and it looks as though Christopher Nkunku is edging closer and closer to a Chelsea exit either way.
Maresca might have to splash a bit of cash to rebuild the squad this summer, but if he is to lose the likes of Palmer and Madueke, it will not come cheap at all.
