Dominic Solanke reacts to Tottenham’s Mikey Moore amid transfer links

Tottenham prospect Mikey Moore could explore a move away from the club this summer as manager Thomas Frank continues to shape his Spurs squad.

It was exclusively revealed by Football Insider that Championship clubs Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion were exploring a loan move for Moore.

The 17-year-old faces intense competition for places at Spurs, and new boss Frank has already added to his forward options with the signing of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham.

Frank joined the club following a successful seven year spell at Brentford, but will be under pressure from the start of his Tottenham tenure following the club’s positive end to last season in which they won their first trophy in 17 years.

Moore is one of Spurs’ hottest young prospects.

Moore shares new addition ahead of season start

Despite their Europa League triumph, Spurs sacked manager Ange Postecoglou following a 17th placed finish in the Premier League

Ahead the start of a new season, Moore has taken to Instagram to share pictures of a pair of new boots which he had delivered by Nike.

Moore captioned the post with a blue love heart emoji, which was liked by Spurs striker Dominic Solanke as well as team mates Djed Spence and Lucas Bergvall.

He made his Premier League debut for the club last season against Manchester City and became Spurs’ youngest ever European goal scorer when he netted against Elfsborg in the Europa League.

Moore is a product of the club’s academy having joined the North London side aged just seven.

Football Insider Verdict

With a new manager looking to hit the ground running and with the arrival of another attacking player at Spurs, Moore may be best to move away for a season to aid his development.

West Brom are one of the club’s which is monitoring Moore’s situation and the Baggies are led by former Spurs player and coach Ryan Mason.

The 17-year-old is unlikely to break through into the Spurs side this season unless Frank decides to put his trust in the teenager.

The futures of captain Son Heung-min and Richarlison are both uncertain, so Moore could rise up the pecking order if the pair depart.

However, regular minutes in the Championship or elsewhere could prove more beneficial for the teenager.

Moore has shown his talent in spells for Spurs, but he could make a claim to become an even greater part of the club’s future plans if he impresses on loan.
