Dominic Solanke sends Tottenham message after bust-up
Tottenham are currently under severe pressure following their latest Premier League defeat, and the cracks are beginning to form after a post-match argument on Sunday (16 March) emerged.
Spurs were beaten 2-0 by Fulham at Craven Cottage with Rodrigo Muniz and former Tottenham star Ryan Sessegnon getting on the scoresheet in what was a game to forget for Ange Postecoglou’s men.
Tottenham have now lost 15 of their 29 Premier League matches this season which is their joint-most at this stage, with the 1997-98 campaign being the last time they performed this poorly.
The defeat led to the club slumping into 14th place in the Premier League, despite the fact that only Liverpool have scored more goals than them this season.
Tottenham are a long way from where they want to be and things could get even worse as they are level on points with Everton and West Ham at the moment, which could see them drop as low as 16th if results don’t improve.
Spurs will return to action on 3 April after the international break with a crucial London derby against Chelsea.

Dominic Solanke was brutally honest in his reflections
Dominic Solanke was one of Tottenham’s marquee signings during the summer transfer window, with the aim being that the former Bournemouth man would fire them into new-found success.
So far the England international has managed just seven goals in the Premier League, which is a far cry away from the 19 that he scored last season.
Club stats 2024-25 (all competitions) | Solanke |
Appearances | 33 |
Goals | 11 |
Assists | 8 |

However, Solanke is aware that there are improvements needed as he told fans on Instagram, “Work to do to get back to our best after the break.”

Ange Postecoglou is feeling the pressure
Postecoglou is under severe pressure at the moment with industry insider Mick Brown revealing to Football Insider that he could be sacked by Tottenham as a result of growing frustration within sections of the fanbase.
Those feelings boiled over after the defeat against Fulham where Postecoglou could be seen arguing with a supporter as he had to be calmed down by Mathys Tel.
The situation didn’t help matters as supporters have since branded their manager a “disgrace” for the way that he behaved after the final whistle.
