Dominik Szoboszlai reacts to Milos Kerkez as Liverpool ‘to meet asking price’
Milos Kerkez caught the attention of star midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai on social media amid links with a Bournemouth exit to join Liverpool this summer.
The 21-year-old full-back has experienced yet another brilliant campaign in the Premier League, notching two goals and five assists in 35 matches as the Cherries aim for European qualification.
With five spots already confirmed for the Champions League, a lot now comes down to the Europa League and the Europa Conference League, with just three matches of the league season remaining.
However, even if Andoni Iraola can bring European football to the Vitality Stadium, he could lose several stars this summer, especially as Mick Brown told Football Insider that Liverpool will meet Kerkez’s asking price.
Dean Huijsen and Antoine Semenyo are also being linked with exits at the end of the season, though it remains to be seen if the Cherries are open to losing all three after such an incredible campaign.

Taking to Instagram (7 May), Kerkez shared an image alongside a praying emoji, earning a positive reaction from Dean Huijsen and Justin Kluivert, who have been impressed by his 2024/25 campaign.
The post also gained likes from teammates Antoine Semenyo and Marcos Senesi, as well as Tottenham’s Dominic Solanke and Liverpool star Szoboszlai.
Andoni Iraola wary of Bournemouth rebuild ahead of summer window
Football Insider verdict
A top-half finish would be an incredible achievement for Iraola, who has been tipped to replace Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham due to his work, but the Cherries want more.
The stars on the field clearly want more as well, and with interested teams likely playing Champions League football next season, it might be difficult to keep them this summer.
Premier League standings | Points |
6. Nottingham Forest | 61 |
7. Aston Villa | 60 |
8. Bournemouth | 53 |
9. Brentford | 52 |
10. Brighton | 52 |
Kerkez is not the only star linked with an exit, as discussed already, with Football Insider understanding that Chelsea are interested in signing Huijsen as a new defender, while the Reds also have an eye for Semenyo.
Given Bill Foley‘s promise to push the Cherries forward, it feels unlikely that all three stars would depart the Vitality during the same window, but big fees will be flying in this summer.
If the right transfer offer emerges ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, it might be a sensible idea to accept the deal and use those funds to bring in new and exciting talent for the new season.
