Don Hutchison: Liverpool need to add one of these two goal machines
By Harvey Byrne
Former Liverpool midfielder Don Hutchison has claimed that Liverpool need to add one of Alexandre Lacazette or Edinson Cavani to their team.
The Merseyside giants are currently going through a bad spell in the league with just one win from their last seven matches.
Additionally, they have scored just nine goals across those fixtures after being known for their free scoring before the turn of the year.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has often opted to use natural attacking midfielder Roberto Firmino in the striker role with both Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi struggling to hit form this campaign, while Danny Ings is out injured.
However, Hutchison believes he has found the solution in either one of Lacazette or Cavani and he has shared on his personal Twitter account that he thinks they would bag 25 goals a season for Liverpool.

Both players are currently plying their trade in Ligue 1 with Lacazette at Lyon, while Cavani stars for cash-rich Paris Saint-Germain.
Lacazette, 25, has already bagged 27 goals in all competitions this season from 31 appearances and with his contract set to run out in 2019, Lyon may look to sell him on before his value plummets too far.
Meanwhile, the more experienced Cavani, 30, has bagged an outstanding 33 goals from 33 appearances, including 26 from 25 matches in the French top division and he will enter the final year of his contract in the summer.
Both goal machines would certainly be massive purchases for Liverpool, but there will be sure to be interest from elsewhere if they do become available.
