By Harry Sykes
Craig Gordon has agreed the terms of a new Celtic contract, it has been confirmed.
The Scottish champions announced on their official website and media channels on Wednesday that the 34-year-old has signed a three-year deal.
It ties Gordon, who is a 46-times Scotland international, to the club until the summer of 2020, by which point he will be 37.

Gordon has been rewarded for his consistent form this season in a Celtic team which has swept all before them domestically as they prepare to secure a sixth consecutive Scottish Premiership title.
The former Sunderland and Hearts goalkeeper has seen off competition from summer signing Dorus de Vries to nail down the No1 spot.

He has made 146 appearances for Celtic since signing as a free agent in 2014 following a two-year period out of the game following major knee problems after his 2012 exit from Premier League outfit Sunderland.
The Mail claim that the Bhoys offered Gordon an increase on his previous36-times £12,000-a-week wage to secure him to the new deal.
Football Insider verdict:
Gordon has been a strong performer for the soon-to-be Scottish champions, who have opened up a chasm between themselves and all other clubs in the top flight. Some might say that a keeper plucked from the academy could have spent all season between the sticks and it would have made not a jot of difference to Rodgers’ rampant side. But that would be unfair. Gordon is a consistent operator and Chelsea would not have been fluttering their eyelashes at him in January unless he was the real deal. That said, Celtic should be considering a younger goalkeeper for the future, to provide competition for the main man. Gordon has already blown out 34 candles on his birthday cake and the race to find his successor should already be well underway..
