Done deal: Leeds confirm striker signing on permanent deal, set for debut this weekend

Leeds have confirmed the signing of striker Sam Dalby from Leyton Orient.
The news was announced on the official Leeds Twitter page on Tuesday afternoon.
The 18-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the club and will hook up with Carlos Corberan’s U23s side.
He is eligible to make his debut on Friday evening.

The deal was revealed exclusively by Football Insider yesterday, as we predicted the time and the terms of the deal precisely.
We said Leeds had moved quickly to sign the centre-forward who they see as a star in the making.
Our source stated that the medical would happen on Tuesday as the finishing touches to a whirlwind transfer.
Talking after the deal had been done, director of football Victor Orta said: “We are pleased to welcome Sam to Leeds United, we believe that he can be an important player for the future.
“He has already tasted League Two and National League football, he is tall and strong, and we are confident that in a couple of years time he can be competing for a place in our first team.”
In other Leeds news, the club is set for a seven-figure swoop for this goal-a-game hitman ripping up the top flight.
