'Done our team talk for us', 'Give it the Maradona' - Wolves fans fume at Villa boss comments
Steve Bruce is facing pelters from Wolves supporters ahead of their visit to Villa Park on Saturday afternoon for comments he has made ahead of the game.
Talking about the Wolves bench he said that their goal celebrations were over the top.
He said in The Birmingham Mail: “I think they’re vociferous all the time. That’s their prerogative. We don’t behave like that. I wouldn’t have thought my staff would have behaved like that.
“But, look, they beat us fairly and squarely and things like that you have to take on the chin. We’ll bear that in mind for tomorrow but let’s hope it’s us celebrating and not them.”
It was the “we don’t behave like that” statement that Wolves fans were raging about and it would seem that all Bruce has done is stoke the flames considerably going into the Birmingham derby.
Vexed supporters of the Molineux club took to social media to vent about the Villa boss.

Ten points separates the two teams and at one point, prior to the Claret and Blues defeat at Fulham, Villa looked as though they might catch their rivals.
But after a miniature blip in form, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side looks to have turned the corner after their 3-0 midweek win against Leeds at Elland Road.
The Villa manager did also state that Jack Grealish should return for the match but that has been overshadowed.
Based on Bruce’s pre-match comments, and the reaction to those, it could be a scorcher of an atmosphere at Villa Park on Saturday.
Here is a selection of Twitter responses of the Molineux faithful:

I was bothered by Steve Bruce for around three seconds and then remembered he wrote a football-based children’s murder mystery book loosely based on himself…
